Each year, the Planning Committee reviews the Needs Assessment and develops the Priority Setting Process for funded Service Categories. In some terms, the Planning Committee has reviewed funded Service Category definitions, developed Zero-funding and Service Category modification processes and produced reports to assist the Resource & Allocations Committee.

 Planning Committee Charge

• Develop and implement a process to identify the needs of people living with HIV/AIDS and their caregivers:
• Keep this Needs Assessment current;
• Ensure that the process is objective;
• Ensure the process is ethnically, culturally, and linguistically sensitive; and
• Include quantitative analysis to the dregree that appropriate data are available.
