| |
The Consumer Committee ensures that Planning Council members who are living with HIV/AIDS are empowered, supported, and encouraged to work on the full range of activities that the Planning Council undertakes. Consumer Committee also functions as a central meeting place for Planning Council consumers to share their thoughts, concerns and ideas on Planning Council work.
Consumer Committee Charge
- Foster and develop consumer leadership;
- Work with Executive Committee to ensure that at least one Consumer Committee member is on each Planning Council committee;
- Inform the Planning Council on issues from a consumer perspective; and
- Ensure that diverse consumer input and participation are included in all Planning Council and committee activities.
